Welcome to GraceNotes Acapella!

GraceNotes Acapella is a women's four-part acapella harmony chorus based in Saltash, Cornwall. Established in 1990, we've been performing and competing across the South West and beyond for over 30 years, singing a wide range of contemporary repertoire that’s as diverse as we are.

Our singers are a mixed bunch, representing six decades across our membership, and hailing from not only our local area of Saltash, Plymouth and the surrounding towns and villages, but from as far afield as West and North Cornwall; a testament to how far our singers are willing to travel to be a part of our wonderful GraceNotes family.

We are passionate about what we do. A registered educational charity and an active Cornish organisation, promoting our wonderful art-form and supporting our local and wider communities is at the heart of everything we do. You’ll often find us out and about in Saltash, Plymouth and across Cornwall and Devon, singing at local events or getting involved in fundraisers. We also host regular open rehearsals, encouraging others to learn more about vocal harmony, and to join our incredible chorus.

We also perform at private functions, compete at both a local and national level, and are members of the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers, and Making Music. In 2022, we competed nationally and ranked within the top ten choruses in the UK, placing ninth. We also won The Millennium Award for Most Improved Chorus, and our Musical Director, Heidi, won The Cheshire Chord Trophy as the director effecting most improvement in their chorus.

There’s plenty more to learn about us across our site, so please do explore. And if you still want to know more, get in touch!
